BACKGROUND

I currently live in La Jolla, California with my husband, Bob, and my beloved West Highland White Terriers. I grew up outside Philadelphia and moved to California in High School. I graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara in History/Political Science, did graduate work in Chinese/Chinese History at San Diego State University, and  graduated from University of San Diego in a program on Estate and Trusts.

I am an advocate for women owned businesses and won the NAWBO Public Policy Advocate of the Year Award for my work. I was appointed by two different Governors to serve on several Boards for the State of California. I’m also an active local Community leader and advocate.

Books and Awards

I’m the author of the successful books Appreciate Each Day, The Magic of Me, My Special Girls, Guided By Animal Angels, and Walking With Angels. My writings have appeared in newspapers and magazines. I’ve won National Awards for my poetry, and I’m a respected consultant and acclaimed speaker.
